Tim Jordan - Basketball Coach, 2026

A star athlete at Wrens High School, Jordan earned a football scholarship to Savannah State and adopted the Hostess City as his hometown, making a huge impact on the high school basketball scene in Georgia. Jordan was a fixture at Savannah High for 37 years and led the Blue Jacket boys’ basketball team for 28 years before stepping down in 2023. Known for building teams known for their scrappy, physical defensive presence, he posted a career record of 555-251. His teams played up in classifications and went toe-to-toe with Atlanta powers in the postseason. He led his squads to six Final Four appearances and four state championship games — and his legendary 1998 squad won the Class 4A state title against Berkmar, competing in the state's highest enrollment classification. Three of Jordan’s assistants went on to win a state title as a head coach.
