Terry Webb - Coaching`, 2026
Terry Webb had a passion for baseball. After a distinguished career as a player at Georgia Southern, Webb turned to coaching, first at Windsor Forest before moving on to Jenkins High School. His coaching included an assistant role in football, and head coaching jobs in girls’ basketball and boys’ basketball. But it was baseball where the Georgia Southern graduate made a name for himself. While coaching on the diamond, Webb earned Coach of the Year honors in 1986 & 1987. Webb is a member of the Savannah Softball Hall of Fame as a player, and the baseball field at Herschel V. Jenkins now bears his name.
