Scott, John - 1966
At age 21, Scott began coaching athletics at Benedictine Military School in 1908 and served as head coach until 1929, when he left Savannah to enter business. He returned in 1942 and resumed coaching at Benedictine during the World War II years. His teams were excellent. In the famed Benedictine – Savannah High rivalry, his football teams held a 12-11-5 record.
