Stevens, T.E. “Buck” - Basketball, 1969
Buck Stevens started in basketball and baseball as a student at Savannah High School. He eventually gained significant recognition for his basketball performance. Stevens was a member of the SHS team that went to the national tournament in Chicago in the late 1930s. He was an All-State player for Armstrong Junior College (1938-39) and played his last tow years as a member of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets basketball team.
