Manley, Jr., Hobart - Golf, 1969

Manley was a top-flight amateur golfer, winning the Mary Calder Invitational Tournament nine times, the Chatham County Open five times, and the City Open four times. He won the prestigious North-South Amateur at Pinehurst, N.C. in 1951 and was the runner-up in the same competition in 1962. Manley also won the Southeastern PGA in the 1950s and was a semifinalist in the Canadian Amateur tournaments.
