Hursey, Cecil - Bicycling, 1968

Hursey gained fame as a bicycle racing champion in the 1930s. He pedaled his way to the National Amateur Title at Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1935. In addition to the victory in the 50-mile race that won him the national title, Hursey swept all honors in the races there. He also won numerous local, regional, and state races during his career.
