MacLaurin, Ceil - Golf, 1968
MacLaurin, the first woman inducted into the Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame, holds then city championships and eight state amateur titles. In 1976, she won the United States Golf Association Senior Women’s title and the Hilton Head Senior Women’s title. A year later, Ceil captured the Women’s Southern Amateur Championship and competed in the Women’s International at Moss Creek as the reigning National Senior Women’s champ. In 1978, she competed in the Women’s International as the Women’s Southern Amateur champion.
