Compton, Thomas S. - Lacrosse, 1982

Compton was twice selected as an All-American for his play on the University of Virginia’s lacrosse team. In his junior year at Virginia, he helped lead the 1952 Cavaliers to the national championship title. At St. Paul’s School in Baltimore, Maryland, Compton has a successful prep career. He was a three-sport standout, excelling in football, basketball, and lacrosse. During his senior year in 1948, Compton was captain of the football team, basketball team, and lacrosse team. He was chosen as an All-State athlete in lacrosse this same year.
