Basia Peragine - Volleyball , 2019

Whether excelling on the volleyball court, in the classroom or serving in a leadership role among her peers, Basia Peragine has consistently achieved at the highest level during her four years at Calvary Day School. She was a member of three straight Class A volleyball state championships and All State performer who will continue her athletic career at Stonehill College. She was the region volleyball Player of the Year in 2018 following a dominant senior season and was recognized as one of the area’s top volleyball players during all four years in high school. She balanced her athletic success with academic achievement that included being a member of the National Junior Honor Society and maintained a nearly perfect grade point average during her high school career. Basia exemplifies the work ethic, attitude and leadership skills that define being a champion on and off the court.
