Eichholz, Harry - Basketball, 1981
Eichholz, making his mark at the Jewish Educational Alliance, was one of the finest basketball players to perform in Savannah prior to World War II. Starting at the junior level, he moved quickly through the intermediate category to the senior team the JEA by age fifteen, becoming one of only two players to ever accomplish such a feat. Eichholz competed against the best of the independents, colleges, and touring professionals, compiling an outstanding record.
