Train, Dr. John K. - Lacrosse, 1971
A native Savannahian, Train made his mark as an outstanding lacrosse player at Yale University. He was selected All-American his junior and senior years, serving as team captain his senior year as well. Train prepared for Yale at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, where in participated in most school sports. But when he entered Yale, he turned his interests to concentrate exclusively on lacrosse. Train’s excellent performances have earned him a citation in the prestigious Encyclopedia of Sports. Upon completion of his education, Train returned to Savannah to practice medicine.
