Logan, Malcolm “Mickey” - Football, 1976

In the early 1940s, Logan was a standout athlete at Savannah High School. He starred as a tailback on the football team and as a second baseman on the baseball team from 1940-41. In 1941, he was named to the second team of the Georgia High School All-State.
After graduation, Logan went on to play at Georgia Tech from 1942-45, where he earned a berth on the All-SEC second team in 1944. He played in the 1943 Sugar Bowl and the 1944 Orange Bowl. In 1945, Logan played on the Great Lakes Naval Air Station football team, coached by the legendary Paul Brown.
